Spread Collar Sport Shirt in Navy Gingham Poplin

A classic navy gingham from Italy makes this a great anytime, any-season sport shirt. (In fact, we've been running this particular fabric since day one — it's clean, graphic, and perfectly square for a pattern that textile experts regard as the most visually balanced check in the world.) It's got a modified spread collar with lightweight, nonfused interlining for a soft, relaxed look. As always, the cut is slim but never skinny, with a high armhole for mobility and a long-enough-to-stay-tucked-in shirttail. (Sid likes it this way, but you can always get it shortened.) It's made with single-needle stitching, 22 stitches/inch, flat-felled seams, and thick, 3.5mm Trocas shell buttons.
